A picture I can’t help looking at again and again

A picture of so many scientists one grows up learning about and admiring. The picture gives a whiff of the amazing times and the amazing people.

This picture is from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solvay_Conference . Wikipedia provides some interesting backdrop.

This is a picture pasted on one of the boards at IIIT Bangalore (where I teach). I can’t walk past this without pausing and looking. The amazing group of scientists gives me goosebumps each time. I feel this picture is so inspiring that school kids should “encounter” this some time.
